제목 A Study on adsorption characterization of nitrogen in ion exchanged Zeolites
초록 The objective of this study is to offer preliminary information about the air separation using adsorption isotherms characteristics which is investigated to oxygen and nitrogen. The industrial application of adsorption has not only developed but also widely applied and studied zeolite and activated carbon adsorbent after 1930's. The PSA process is used as the useful industrial process of not only separating pure oxygen form the air but also separating nitrogen from inert gas. It gives us much profit to reduce cost, to obtain high capacity and selectivity.
The experiment was estimated by the volumetric method of adsorption both nitrogen and oxygen in 10℃ to 40℃ using different adsorbents. It showed that the amount of nitrogen adsorption is much higher than that of oxygen adsorption in ion exchanged zeolites
The result of adsorption in various of temperature showed more high adsorption amount at low temperature than at high temperature. It could be explained that nitrogen quadrupole moment is higher than oxygen value.
