Biopolymeric Nanocarrier: Targeted Turn On Delivery for Cacner Imaging |
초록 |
Nanomedicine based on nanotechnology facilitates the development of both therapeutic and diagnostic agents. Especially, fluorescent-based imaging guidance for tumor resection has recently emerged as a fascinating tool using use of exogenous fluorescent contrast agents with objective and precise information of tumor tissues. However, the most contrast agents inherently cannot offer real-time visual information concerning localization of the tumor because of a lack of cancer targeting property. For selective active tumor targeting, these contrast agents were chemically conjugated with targeting moieties such as antibodies and peptides, but they may not achieve the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval due to safety issues. Motivated by this issue, we introduce targeted fluorescent “turn-on” delivery system based on biopolymeric nanocarriers we recently developed without chemical conjugation to the targeting ligand. |
