Electrical and mechanical properties of watersoluble UV curable acrylate composites filled with ATO nanoparticles are investigated with surface treatment of ATO using epoxy, amine and acryl-typed silane coupling agents. Watersoluble UV curable acrylate composites are coated on the surface of PVC tile by bar coating method. Bonding between ATO nanoparticle and silane coupling agent is confirmed by FT-IR analysis and surface morphology is observed by field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM). After curing, the electrical and mechanical properties of the coated tile with the type of coupling treatment of ATO are analyzed in terms of resistivity, pencil hardness, adhesion and abrasion. The adhesion strength and electrical conductivity is improved by the surface treatment of ATO with amine-typed silane coupling agent. |
