Considerable attention has been paid on the preparation and application of nanocrystalline materials for various electrodes, due to their novel physical and chemical properties. By using the high specific surface area of nanoparticles, mesoporous film electrode were prepared and investigated for studying the structural and electrochemical properties. Research have been focused on improving this system by creating a suitable porous structure or porosity in the mesoporous film electrodes with variety in particle size and morphology of particles, and optimizing the fabrication and structure of film electrodes. In our study, the preparation and the porous structure had been studied as a function of the surfactant species and annealing temperature. Furthermore, the relationship among the particle size, the specific surface area, and the electrochemical properties will be presented. |
