Effect of introducing the urchin like carbon nanotube on organic photovoltaic cells |

We investigate the effects of introducing the urchin like carbon nanotube (U-CNT) on the structural, electrical, optical and surface properties of organic solar cells (OSCs) as a function of U-CNT concentration. U-CNT shows very good dispersion in organic solvent of active materials. OSCs with U-CNT doped on photoactive layer shows increase of optical absorption in visible region, resulting in increase of power conversion efficiency than without U-CNT. This indicates that the introduction of the U-CNT into active layer is an effective technique employed to improve the OSCs efficiency. |
