제목 Direct Bio-ethanol Steam Reforming System in Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell
초록 Molten carbonate fuel cell is a well known technology for future power generation. An integrated catalyst-coated anode for molten carbonate fuel cell, which is easy to manufacture and performs high voltage and good stability, was developed. It showed competitive performance even though it was supplied with bio-ethanol in comparison to reformate gas. By simple coating a catalyst on one-side of the anode, high initial performance of molten carbonate fuel cell could be achieved. Ethanol steam reforming occurred on the catalyst layer while electrochemical reaction did on the anode electrode. This modified anode showed good stability without decrease in performance for 100 hours operation.
