제목 Halide Welding for Silver Nanowires Network Electrode
초록 We developed the chemical welding method of silver nanowires (AgNWs) using aqueous solution containing sodium halide salts. The halide-welding was performed by simple immersion of AgNWs film into the sodium halide solution, which was compared with two typical thermal- and plasmonic-welding. The halide-welding decreased the sheet resistance of the AgNWs electrode due to the formation of the strong fusion attributed to the self-catalytic addition of silver ions on the nanowire junction. The halide-welding could be applied to AgNWs films with various deposition densities because the halide ions could contact to the surface. In addition, the halide-welding enhanced the mechanical flexibility compared with the as-coated AgNWs. The halide-welded AgNWs were successfully applied as source-drain electrodes of the flexible organic field-effect transistors. This simple and low cost halide-welding provides an innovative method for the transparent electrode for flexible optoelectronic devices.
