Synthesis of Dimer Acid from Fatty Acid on the Various Reaction Condition |
| 초록 |
Dimer acids or dimerized fatty acids are carboxylic acids obtained from dimerization of unsaturated fatty acids. Dimer acids are used primarily for synthesis of polyamide resins and polyamide adhesives. It can be also used as raw materials of adhesives, paints and lubricants. In this study, dimer acids were synthesized by use of fatty acid in various reaction conditions such as catalyst, reaction temprature and reaction time, etc. Dimer acid and unreacted fatty acid were separated by high vacuum distillation for synthesized polymer. |
