제목 Spontaneous Formation of 3D Nanoplasmonic Wells and Their Applications to Nanophotonic Biosensors
초록 Development of effective analyzing platforms is essential for detecting biomarkers and environmental pollutants. In this regards, various nanostructures have been recently utilized to fabricate analyzing platforms with enhanced performances in terms of sensitivity, selectivity, accuracy and reproducibility. However, conventional methods for nanostructures including photolithography and electron beam lithography require a number of time-consuming steps and expensive instruments. Herein, we present 3D well structures self- integrated with plasmonic nanoparticles as sensing platforms for highly-sensitive detection of small molecules. The optical characteristics of the fabricated nanoplasmonic wells were easily tuned by controlling concentrations and compositions of metal ionic precursors. Through the optimization of nanoplasmonic wells, we achieved the enhancement of optical signals such as Rayleigh scattering and Raman scattering, which have been extensively utilized in label-free sensing. We believe that these approaches will contribute to develop a facile fabrication method for multifunctional high-throughput biochips and highly-sensitive nanophotonic sensors.
