Effect of the sodium acetate content on the preparation of poly(vinyl alcohol) solutions containing silver nanoparticles by a gamma-ray irradiation |
초록 |
Sodium acetate is a major impurity in commercial poly(vinyl alcohol) samples and the amount of sodium acetate may reach several percentage. In this presentation, we studied the effect of the sodium acetate content in poly(vinyl alcohol) solutions on the radiolytic formation of silver nanoparticles. The formation rate of the silver nanoparticles was accelerated with an increasing sodium acetate content. The nanoparticle formations were characterized by TEM and UV spectrophotometer and the amount of sodium acetate in the poly(vinyl alcohol) was investigated through an NMR(nuclear magnetic resonance) spectroscopy. |
