제목 Surface Treatment of Photoelectrode Using Co-adsorbate and Effects on the Photovoltaic Properties of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
초록 Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), composed of a dye-adsorbed metal oxide semiconductor, redox electrolyte and counter electrode, have proved themselves as high efficiency and low-cost systems for conversion of visible light into electrical energy. However, further improvements in the power conversion efficiency are necessary to successfully commercialize DSSCs. In this study, we investigated effects of TMOS as a co-adsorbate on the photovoltaic performance of DSSCs. When the introduction of TMOS onto TiO2 surface was performed with dye (N719) adsorption, the DSSC with TMOS-modified photoelectrdode showed both an increase in open-circuit voltage and fill factor. It was notable that, with increasing the contents of TMOS, fill factor was increased from 68.79% to 72.15%.
