Organic Solar Cells (OSCs) have been developed due to its advantages of solution processing, light weight, and flexibility in comparison with the silicon-based solar cells. Especially, non fullerene OSCs show better performance than fullerene OSCs because of its tunability at structure and light absorption range. For commercial application of OSCs, cost, power conversion efficiency (PCE) and stability are the three most crucial issues that must be taken into account. Recently, the PCE has already reached the threshold of the industrialization. For the next step to commercial usage, we should consider the stability and cost issues. Hence, we select electron donating material poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) because of its low cost and simple synthesis procedures. By designing, synthesizing, and introducing electron accepting material that matches with P3HT, we can expect OSCs’ high efficiency and low cost for its commercialization. |
