제목 Polarity-Tunable Organic Field-Effect Transistors Based on Thienoisoindigo Polymers
초록 Organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) have attracted tremendous attention during the past two decades as they are promising components for low-cost, large-area, and flexible electronics. Systematic design of polymeric semiconductors from novel building blocks is critical for improving charge transport properties in OFETs. Recently, polar bicyclic lactam structures have been widely utilized for conjugated polymer backbones to induce efficient π-π stacking and facilitate charge transport. Herein, we report a series of ultralow-bandgap polymers containing thienoisoindigo (TIIG) as a thiophene analogue of isoindigo (IIG). These polymers exhibit tunable polarity depending on the type of metal electrodes. Our approach demonstrates an efficient polarity-tuning method for OFETs which excludes the reliance on the degree of electron affinity of the co-monomers.
