In this work, the electrochemical properties of lithium pre-doped graphites were studied in lithium-ion capacitors (LICs). The pre-doping graphites were reacted with LiCl solutions using natural graphites, oxidized graphites, and expanded graphites for negative electrode.From the results, it was found that the highest cycling performance of the expanded graphites was attributed to the pre-doped lithium component. Consequently, a initial irreversible capacity could be decreased by lithium pre-doping, resulting from excellent contact resistance between the positive and the negative electrodes. |
