제목 High Interfacial Fracture Resistance of All-Polymer Solar Cells:Comparative Studies of Decohesion Kinetics between All-PSCs and Small Molecules-PSCs
초록 Organic Solar Cells (OSCs) have attracted much attention due to their some advantages such as light weight, simple and low-cost fabricating process. Although power conversion efficiency (PCE) have exceeded 10%, the vulnerable device stability still remains a great challenge. Especially, the mechanical properties of OSCs play a important key role in making process and operation at real condition, but there has been lack of interest. In this work, we used double-cantilever beam (DCB) testing method to investigate differences of mechanical properties of all-polymer solar cells (all-PSCs) between PCBM based solar cells (PCBM-PSCs). The cohesive failure in active layer was observed in both case. More importantly, significantly enhanced mechanical robustness was obtained from all-PSCs active layer compared than that of PCBM-PSCs, because polymer acceptor are not only intrinsically more ductile than PCBM molecules but also are entangled with other polymers in active layer.
