The effect of milling and postmilling recrystallization on SAPO-34 for methanol to olefins conversion |
초록 |
Methanol to olefin (MTO) reaction is an alternative route for producing light olefins from abundant resources of natural gas, coal, and biomass, instead of limited oil resources. Especially, silicoaluminophosphate (SAPO)-34 has excellent catalytic performance in the MTO reaction with highly selectivity for light olefins, due to cylinder-like cages with small 8-ring pore openings restricting the release of large hydrocarbons. However, the micropores of SAPO-34 suffers from the diffusion limitation causing a fast coke deposition and thus catalytic deactivation. In an attempt to improve the catalytic lifetime, we focused on the effect of milling and postmilling recrystallization on the morphological, physical and acidic properties of the SAPO-34. Ultimately, their modification was investigated in the aspect of improving the rapid deactivation toward the MTO reaction. |
