제목 Colloidal Quantum Dots for Solar Cell Applications
초록 Chalcogenide- and halide perovskite-based colloidal nanocrystals (i.e., quantum dots) have attracted considerable attention in the optoelectronic device applications such as photovoltaics and light-emitting diodes because of their size-tunable bandgaps, excellent photophysical properties, and large-scale solution processibility. We demonstrate how to utilize the colloidal nanocrystals into solar cell applications. Colloidal nanocrystals are synthesized via hot-injection methods uisng hydrocarbon insulating ligands. The original ligands of as-synthesized colloidal nanocrystals should be replaced with short chain and/or inorganic ligands in order to enhance the charge transporting inside films. We also should consider optimum ligands, final film thickness as well as device architectures for further improved photovolatic performance. Considering all the properties, we demonstrate the perspective and recent research trend of colloidal nanocrystal-based solar cell applications.
