Graphene has superior electrical and optical properties, and has potentials for various industrial applications. Homogeneous dispersion of graphene in organic media is prerequisite for obtaining homogeneous graphene-polymer composites. In this study, the surface of graphene-nanoplatelets(GNP) was modified by oxidation with KOH and modified GNP was processed by ball mill for enhancement of dispersion stability in organic polymers. Several experimental parameters such as GNP/KOH ratio, milling time, and ball size were investigated to achieve the high dispersion stability in organic polymers. Structure and defect of modified GNP were examined by Raman spectroscopy. Composite films of modified GNP/PEDOT-PSS/polyurethane were prepared to evaluate the electrical properties (sheet resistance and conductivity) and barrier properties (WVTR and OTR), respectively. |
