Conjugated polymers are useful semiconductors because they exhibit sensitivity change of absorption or emission spectrum. Push-pull conjugated polymers are composed of donor–acceptor units. We studied characteristics of these conjugated polymers by various acceptors units. There are types of acceptor such as quinoxaline, benzothiadiazole and diketopyrrolopyrrole derivatives. We obtained conjugated polymers with specific photophysic and optical properties (absorbance and fluorescence), these push-pull conjugated polymers have different HOMO-LUMO energy levels by the introduction of different acceptor groups. And we used phenylene units as electron donor groups, because phenylene units improve the intermolecular charge-transport ability by enhancing the Π−Π interaction. We have synthesized conjugated polymers using various acceptors of polymer backbone via Suzuki-coupling reaction. Finally, we observed photophysics and optical properties of conjugated polymers. |
