We investigated the self-assembly behaviors of the amphiphilic polymers consisting of alternating oligoaniline and oligo(ethylene glycol) (OEG) blocks in aqueous solutions. The polymers were synthesized via polycondensation between oligoaniline and OEG blocks with various weight fractions. As the polymers self-assembled in aqueous solutions, micellar aggregates or vesicles formed varying with external conditions, such as pH, doping levels, and applied potentials. Detailed characterization was performed by using cyclic voltammetry (CV), dynamic light scattering (DLS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and small/wide angle X-ray scattering (SAXS/WAXS).
