제목 Colorless Polyimide/Silica Sol Nanocomposite with Self-Cleaning Property
초록 Whenwater droplets contact a dirt-contaminated superhydrophobic surface, the dirtparticles are carried away from the surface by rolling water droplets. It meansthe superhydrophobic surface has self-cleaning property. If the super​hydrophobic coatings aretransparent, the range of possible application could be expanded in variousindustries. In this study, colorless polyimide/silica sol nanocomposite (CPIS)with self-cleaning property are reported. It was confirmed by SEM and AFMstudies that their hydrophobic and self-cleaning properties are due to uniformparticle distribution and relatively high surface roughness. Also, CPIS showeda high transmittance value (82-88%) at 550 nm. Therefore, CPIS is expected tobe applied in solar cell panels, windows, lenses, and safety goggles.
