제목 Entrapment of Pseudomonas putida NCIB 9816-4 in poly(ethylene glycol)methacrylate (PEGMA) hydrogel for degradation of naphthalene
초록 Hydrogels are crosslinked polymers with a three dimensional network arrangement that are able to retain a large amount water. Poly(ethylene glycol)methacrylate (PEGMA) was selected as the main component of hydrogel beads since PEG is known as a nontoxic and biocompatiable materials. The Pseuedomonas putida NCIB 9816-4 was entrapped the PEGMA hydrogel by suspension polymerization of PEGMA hydrogel. The concentration of naphthalene was decreased by entrapped Pseudomonas putida NCIB 9816-4 in the PEGMA hydrogel.
