The electrical properties of conducting polymers are strongly dependent on their film morphology and chemical and physical structure, which in turn can be strongly modified via a variety of deposition treatmentsWe report the defendence of conductivity, morphology and electro chemical activity of Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT) film on thermal treatment under various condition. We found that thermal treatment improved the electrochemical properties of PEDOT film. Supercapacitor fabricated using PEDOT film cured at 200℃ in nitrogen as the electrod showed more stable electrochemical properties than that fabricated using PEDOT film without thermal treatment. |
