Indeno[1,2-b]fluorene-based copolymers were synthesized by Suzuki coupling reaction from 6,6’-12,12’-tertoctylindeno[1,2-b]fluorene and 4,7-di-2-thienyl-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole (DBT) with changing the content of DBT from 0.015% to 50%. The optical and electronic properties of the copolymers are characterized using photoluminescence spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry and so on. The device characteristics are also discussed for white light emitting diode and polymeric photovoltaic cell with PCBM as an electron acceptor. |
