Crystallization behavior of (K2O-2TiO2-P2O5)∙(K2O-2B2O3-7SiO2) glass has been examined by differential thermal analysis (DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmittance by UV-Vis spectrometer. A glass, having the 50(K2O-2TiO2-P2O5)∙50(K2O-2B2O3-7SiO2) molar composition has been heat treated from 660 to 700℃ with 1~2h in order to find out an optimized condition for transparent glass exhibiting non-linear optical activity. As the temperature change, nano-crystalline that has 2nd harmonic generation was formed and XRD peak was also increased matched with UTP phase (Unknown titanium phosphate). |
