제목 Synthisis and thermal properties of epoxy resins based on bisphenol M
초록 Diglycidyl ether of 1,3-Bis(2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-propyl)benzene (DGEBM) was synthesized with epichlorohydrin in the presence of sodium hydroxide as a catalyst. The structure of DGEBM was characterized with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR). Phenol novolac resin(PNH) was used as the curing agent for DGEBM. The glass-transition temperature of the cured DGEBM/PNH, determined by nonisothermal differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The thermal properties of the cured DGEBM/PNH system was investigated using Thermograavimetric analysis(TGA). The thermal degradation kinetics of the cured DGEBM/PNH system determined by Ozawa method.
