제목 Removal of metal ions by gel type ion exchange process
초록 In this study, the ion exchange process was carried out to remove the aluminum and copper metal ions contained in the nitric acid solution that are discharged in large quantities in the process of recovering valuable metals from waste. We selected and used a non-uniform strongly acidic gel-type cation exchange resin that does not deform easily even under acidic conditions in ion exchange process to remove aluminum and copper metal ions from nitric acid solutions. The concentration of metal ions removed by the ion exchange process was calculated using the absorption metric method and the inductively coupled plasma - atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). In addition, the concentration of the nitric acid solution with impurities and metal ions removed by the ion exchange process was analyzed using ion chromatography.
