Inorganic-organic hybrid halide materials have attracted great interest in recent years for photovoltaic materials. Their perovskite crystals can be easily developed at low temperature through solution process, leading to high quality crystalline form comparable to silicon single crystal. Their unique crystallization behavior and superior optoelectrical properties as a photovoltaic material bring the rapid rise of the power conversion efficiency (PCE) in less than 3 years, now perovskite solar cells shows high certified PCE of 20.1 % which is comparable to thin film solar. The high performance developed from the cheap materials and facile solution process at low temperature makes ‘perovskite solar cell’ highly promising as a commercializable next generation solar cell technology. In this talk, recently developed technologies concerned device architecture, fabrication process, and perovskite materials for high photovoltaic performance in the perovskite solar cell will be introduced. |
