A simple hydrothermal technique was used for the synthesis of a ternary reduced graphene oxide (rGO)-ZnO-Gd2MoO6 nanocomposite. The morphology, structure and optical performance of rGO-ZnO-Gd2MoO6 were analyzed by XPS, TEM, XRD, FT-IR, FE-SEM, PL, and DRS. Photocatalytic activity of synthesized rGO-ZnO-Gd2MoO6 was analyzed for ciprofloxacin degradation under visible light. The different condition such as the catalyst dosage, concentration of ciprofloxacin and different pH have been analyzed. The decomposition mechanism were performed under visible light illumination. Moreover, the rGO-ZnO-Gd2MoO6 composite material has excellent stability. |
