Preparation and properties of epoxy-clay nanocomposite on plastic substrate for flexible display |
| 초록 |
Epoxy-clay nanocomposites were prepared by coating on plastic substrate for flexible display to improve the barrier properties. Clay was modified with organic intercalation agent and introduced into epoxy matrix. Intercalation/exfoliation of organo-modified clay was characterized by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The optical and barrier properties of nanocomposites were improved with better dispersion of clay in epoxy resin. The barrier properties were confirmed by measuring water vapor transmission rate(WVTR) and oxygen transmission rate(OTR). |
