Comparisons of low and atmospheric pressure plasma treatment on the surface modification of poly(methyl methacrylate) |
초록 |
Atmospheric pressure plasma (APP) and low pressure plasma (LPP) treatment were both conducted on the poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) plates. The surface free energies of PMMA treated by both plasmas were compared. The Atomic force microscopy (AFM) test was performed to observe the surface morphologies of PMMA. The X-ray Photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) revealed that after both plasma treatments, the surface functionalities were modified. More polar functional groups were generated. However, the oxidation ability of atmospheric pressure plasma is stronger than that of vacuum plasma. |
