제목 New Phosphorous Ligands Designed For GAMA ATRP of High Oxidation State of Iron (III) Metal
초록 ATRP mediated by high oxidation state metal without any additive were employed to polymerize MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) by Fe (III) metal with new phoporous ligands DTBPDB (2-Di-tert-butylphosphino-2′-(N,N-dimethylamino) biphenyl) and DAPDPP 4-(Dimethylamino) Phenyldiphenylphosphine using EBriB as an initiator at 800C in toluene. The molecular weight increased linearly with monomer consumption. In the case of DTBPDB, molecular weights matched the theoretical values very well, and the molecular weight distributions were narrower (~1.2) compared with the DAPDP (~1.3). The effect of ligands was also investigated to get the best controllability condition to employ for further study. By applying the new redox process to a variety of systems, GAMA ATRP can employ an easier and more convenient experiment condition than ATRP.
