Enhanced malignant tumor chemo-immunotherapy using nanomicelle generating microneedles containing paclitaxel and TLR7/8 agonist |
초록 |
Dissolving microneedles(MNs) offer an effective way for advanced drug delivery systems. Efficient drug delivery of low dose chemical therapy agent paclitaxel and immune-modulators adjuvants-resiquimod was synergized to demonstrate anti-cancer effect and activation of antigen-presenting cells. Paclitaxel treatment was speculated to cause malignant tumor cell death which should lead to production of tumor-specific antigens. Resiquimod was used as an adjuvant and was anticipated to induce maturation and activation of immune cells for eliciting anticancer immune response. In this study, two hydrophobic therapeutic drugs being were dispersed with the help of an amphiphilic triblock copolymer. The capability of concurrent delivery of two agents-loaded NMCs was researched by watching the induced secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines which are considered for anti-cancer activity and the expression of maturation markers (CD40,CD80) which elicit a much stronger immune stimulation effect. |
