The Effect of Thermal Treatment and Additives for Excellent Alignment Properties of Photo-alignment Agents |
초록 |
Photo-alignment is important technology in the development of efficient liquid crystal displays (LCDs). Photo-alignment agents with high photosensitivity uniformly aligned angle and direction by linear polarized UV (LPUV) are effective materials for the increase of productivity and the decrease of production cost. In the study, two kinds of photosensitive polymers with chalcone groups have been examined for retarder film and characterized theirs LC aligned properties by thermal and additives effects. As a result, nonalignment ratio of the films decreased from 2% to 91% under 40 mJ•cm-2 of LPUV exposure energy. |
