Adhesion force between Trp-Lys-Tyr-Met-Val-D-Met (WKYMVm) and human formyl peptide receptor (hFPR). |
초록 |
We suggest an approach to investigate the kinetic and thermodynamic properties of the peptide-receptor by measuring its adhesion force to the corresponding ligand by using atomic force microscopy (AFM). A potent neutrophil chemoattractant, Trp-Lys-Tyr-Met-Val-D-Met (WKYMVm), has a high affinity to human formyl peptide receptor (hFPR). AFM was used to measure the adhesion force between WKYMVm and FPR. Direct measurement of the adhesion force could elucidate the relationship between the adhesion force and the cantilever loading rate and finally helped to characterize thermodynamic properties of the WKYMVm-hFPR binding. |
