Cell-laden coronary stents covered with extracellular matrix: In-vitro and in-vivo studies |
초록 |
Metal implants have been widely used for the treatment of diseases such as stent and bone anchor and even attracted much attention in wearable devices. However, those have severe disadvantages because of poor biocompatible surface. To improve biocompatibility, we applied a pre-coating of polydopamine (pDA) and fibronectin (FN) to a metal surface (CoCr) and then ultimately constructed fibroblast-derived extracellular matrices (ECMs) through decellularization. The modified surface of CoCr was characterized by SEM, AFM, FT-IR and XPS. Results support that the surface modification with complicated extracellular matrix using pDA and FN can be one of promising approaches for overcoming poor biocompatibility of a metallic devices. |
