제목 | High k and Flexible Polyimide/BaTiO3 Composite for Embedded Capacitor |
초록 | Recently, embedded capacitors have drawn interests because they have advantages of improved electrical performance and reduced assembly cost compared with traditional discrete capacitors. We need to prepare organic/inorganic composites with well-dispersion, which consist of polymer with high dielectric constant substance (eg. BaTiO3). A critical barrier towards realizing flexible embedded capacitors with the desired performance is associated with uniform distribution of ceramic particles. In order to solve this problem, we introduced two kind of coupling agents (Si- and Ti-based) between poly (amic acid) solution and BaTiO3 (70nm and 300nm). In this study, polyimide/BaTiO3 composites were synthesized by using a colloidal process. Highly flexible polyimide/ BaTiO3 composites in spite of high BaTiO3 loading could be successfully prepared by this coupling agent treatment. The morphology and properties of the composite films were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA) and LCR electromer. In polyimide/ BaTiO3 (70 nm) composite system, the values of dielectric constant (ε) and dielectric loss (tan δ) increased as volume fraction of BaTiO3 particles increased. We could obtain a flexible dielectric constant of 17 and dielectric loss of 0.027 at 1 kHz. |
