제목 | La2Sn2O7-Ni-GDC Anode-supported SOFC with dry methane fuel |
초록 | Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) are good alternative to replace combustion engine to generate electricity. SOFC can directly utilize hydrocarbon fuel such as methane due to its high operation temperature. However, conventional Ni-based anode suffers a lot of problems such as carbon deposition when hydrocarbon fuel is used, because Ni is a good catalyst for hydrocarbon cracking reaction. Deposited carbon poisons the active sites of the anode structure, resulting in rapid and irreversible cell deactivation. In this study, La2Sn2O7-Ni-GDC anode catalyst was prepared to enhance durability in methane condition. Fabricated La2Sn2O7-Ni-GDC | GDC | LSCF-GDC cell operated over 600 h without degradation. |
