The investigation of stability and efficiency of difunctional initiator based on 1,3-Diisopropenylbenzene with 2-fold t-BuLi and butadiene |
초록 |
The stability and efficiency of the DIB/2 Bd/2 t-BuLi adducts which were prepared from the addition of 1,3-diisopropenylbenzene (DIB) with 2- fold tert-butyllithium (t-BuLi) and butadiene have been investigated. The anion concentration analysis of DIB/t-BuLi difunctional initiator with one unit of butadiene which was carried out at -10℃ in the presence of TEA at the ratio of [TEA]/[Li]=1 was titrated with 2-butanol in the glove box with 1,10-phenanthroline as the indicator. The DIB/2 Bd/2 t-BuLi anion concentration could still be 99.1% even stored for four weeks which was evidence of the good stability. The polyisoprenes were synthesized by using this DIB/2 Bd/2 t-BuLi adduct as the initiator. All the molecular weight distributions were monomodal determined by Gel Permeation Chromatography which means that DIB/2 Bd/2 t-BuLi adduct was the effective difunctional initiator. |
