제목 White light emitting diodes based on polymer blends of fluorene derivatives and phenylenevinylene derivatives
초록 We have fabricated the white polymeric light emitting diodes (PLEDs) with polymer blends of a new synthesized blue emitting polymer, poly(phenyl-9,9-dioctyl-9',9'-dihexanenitrile) fluorene (PPFC6N) and polymer blend of PPFC6N and polyfluorene (PFO) with a red dopant polymer, phenylenevinylene derivatives (MEH-PPV). Our devices show strong white emissions, showing the complementary electroluminescence (EL) spectra near 450 nm and 600 nm with a maximum luminance of about 10,000 cd/m2 and maximum efficiency of 5 cd/A. This device characteristics will be compared with other white PLEDs with same host polymer and polymer blend with various red dopant polymers and small molecules.
