In this work, Coptidis Rhizoma is a traditional medicine used for antipyretic, blood pressure, antiinflammatory et al. From the result, the 100% water, 100% Ethanol and 50% Ethanol each extraction solvent that applied dipping and extraction time 4hr, at 25 ºC. The comparison with the best extraction efficiency of solvent composition on the extraction yield and bioactivity of Coptidis Rhizoma has been investigated. Also, free radical scavengers in the berberine and palmatine of Coptidis Rhizoma were screened, identified and quantified by on-line screening HPLC-ABTS assay coupled. The comparison of free radical scavengers in the extracts of Coptidis Rhizoma by on-line screening HPLC-ABTS assay. The confirms the feasibility of assessing bioactivity of specific phytochemicals using the on-line screening HPLC-ABTS assay method. |
