제목 High-Modulus Graphene Oxide Poly methyl(methacrylate) Composite Fibers
초록 In this work, coagulation and melt spinning technique were used to fabricate poly methyl(methacrylate) (PMMA) fibers incorporated with graphene oxide (GO). The amount of nano-filler was varied up to 0.5 wt% to study its effect on the properties of composite fibers. SEM images showed that the wrinkled surface of GO increases its measured thickness to 1 nm in the AFM even when it existed as a monolayer. Also, zeta potential indicated that GO suspension maintains its stability over a wide pH range. Dynamic mechanical properties of GO-PMMA composite fibers studied by DMA showed that the storage modulus (E’) of fibers were effectively increased with the addition of a small amount of GO, and their electrical resistivity was preserved in the range of an insulator.
