제목 one step synthesis of Ag nanowires using pvp-peg block copolymer
초록 Silver nanowires were synthesized through a one-step method. Poly(N-vinylpyrrolidone) was always choosen as capping agent to the process since the date of first publication of this method. In this paper, we used PVP-b-PEG diblock copolymer as capping agent and successfully synthesized Ag nanowires through this process. PVP-b-PEG was synthesized by RAFT polymerization. Then this polymer was introduced to the Ag nanowires synthesizing process. It was a self seeding process without adding any additive agent. Detailed parametric studies determining the relationship between final morphology of the products and molar ratio of PVP-b-PEG to AgNO3, injection rate and temperature were also presented. Finally, at the optimum condition we got the Ag nanowires with the diameter of 80 nm and the length of 16μm with little nanoparticles. Even more notably, attributed to the pEG block tail covering on the Ag nanowieres sulface, they can disperse in non-polar solvent like toluene.
