제목 Mixing Effect of Animal Fat and Vegetable Oil in Biodiesel Production
초록 An animal fat, a source for bioenergy has non-uniform quality due to saturated fatty acids. It is more stable than vegetable oil in oxidation, and has low incomplete combustion due to high heating value and cetane number. In this study, we produced biodiesel by mixing the lard as animal fat and vegetable oil. Their characteristics were observed by their mixing ratio. As the experimental variables the mole ratio of methanol/mixed-oil was varied from 1:6 to 1:15 and mixing ratio of lard andvegetable oil was 1:9 to 9:1 at 55℃. As produced biodiesel was satisfied the quality criteria, biodiesel can be produced using the lardand vegetablemixed oil by controling methanol/mixed oil mole ratio.
