제목 Preparation and characterization of organic-inorganic hybrid coatings with polymerized acrylate by modified sol-gel method
초록 Coating materials used for plastic products and in display industry need higher hardness and elastic properties. Organic-inorganic hybrid coatings were carried out through modified sol-gel method including UV-curing for photopolymerization. 3-Methacryloxypropyl trimethoxysilane (MAPTMS) and tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) were used as precursor for sol formation while MAPTMS, methyl methacrylate (MMA) and divinylbenzene as crosslinking agent were used for acrylate polymerization. The organic-inorganic hybrid material films coated onto commercial PET film were obtained according to the different sol composition ratios of MAPTMS to TEOS and gelation conditions such as aging temperature and time. Coating properties were investigated and compared by measuring the hardness and elasticity of the coated films via nano indentation testing.
