제목 Effect of Particle Size on the Formation of ZnO Thin Films
초록 In this research, ZnO thin films were fabricated by using ZnO nanoparticles with different sizes. First of all, zinc acetate dihydrate (Zn salt) and potassium hydroxide (KOH) were used as starting materials to prepare the nano-sized ZnO particles in methanol. Secondly, the synthesized particles were dispersed in 1-butanol using various kinds of dispersants such as methoxyethoxyacetic acid (MEA), poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), and sorbitane monooleate (Span 80). For the control of particle size, the concentrations of Zn salt, KOH, and dispersant were varied. Finally, the prepared ZnO dispersions were coated on the glass substrate by spin coating process. The characterizations were performed by using FE-SEM, TEM, DLS, and UV-Vis spectrophotometer.
