제목 Chemical stability of sPEEK/Ce quencher composite membrane for fuel cell application
초록 Polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) are considered as great alternative energy sources in diverse areas. In the PEMFC system, the performance of proton exchange membrane plays an important role. Proton exchange membrane works for pathway of proton and seperator between anode and cathode. Some oxigen is changed to hydroxy radical, when react with proton anode side. Hydroxy radical could cause degradation of polymer membrane. To remove hydroxy radical, cerium/crown ether complex is introduced to membrane for radical quencher. In this research, sPEEK/quencher composite membrane was prepared and their properties such as oxidation resistance, proton conductivity, water uptake, and etc. were investigated.
