제목 Efficient 5-hydroxymethylfurfural Generation Using a Newly Designed Microfluidic System
초록 Many studies have conducted experiments with many changes in conditions to obtain better results than previously reported results. Instead of a lot of effort to change the conditions, we overcame the drawback by designing a new system using a microreactor. In this study, we attempt to demonstrate this system by experimenting with the conversion of fructose to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural. Our system can not only increase the reaction efficiency of HMF production but also circulate the unreacted fructose continuously. In other words, the result is that both conversion and yield increase.
