Abnormal grain growth (AGG) method has been utilized to prepare seeds of (1−x)(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3−xCa(Cu1/3Nb2/3)-O3(KNN−xCCuN) and(1−x)(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3−xSr(Cu1/3Nb2/3)-O3 (KNN−xSCuN) lead-free piezoelectric single crystals. Ca2+,Sr2+ ion in the KNN−CCuN and KNN−SCuN ceramics compensated for the loss of Na+ found in the KNN-based ceramics. Also, CuO was added to form the sufficient liquid phase. We have analyzed and compared the difference in the microstructure and crystallinity of KNN-CCuN and KNN-SCuN through SEM and XRD. The large particle size CCuN was measured at 100μm and the SCun at 50μm.(heating at 1125℃ for 10hours) Through this, it was confirmed that KNN-CCuN and KNN-SCuN ceramics cause abnormal grain growth, and grain size difference occurred between KNN-CCuN and KNN-SCuN ceramics. |
