Synthesis of new poly(ethylene oxide)-based block copolymer exhibiting pH sensitive phase transition and its use for preparation of ZnO nanoparticles |
초록 |
New pH sensitive PEO-based block copolymer was simply synthesized by anionic polymerization of ethylene oxide and N-phenylmaleimide (N-PMI). The molecular weight of the resulting product could be controlled by following the living polymerization manner. The N-PMI fragment was deimidation in DMSO at 120℃ using hydrazine monohydrate and NaOH. The resulting PEO-based block copolymers were water-soluble and exhibited pH sensitive phase transitions. The pH dependency seems to be controlled by changing the concentration of the block copolymer. We used it to prepare water-soluble nano-sized zinc oxide. In this presentation, we will report the result for preparations of block copolymers exhibiting pH-responsive phase transitions and ZnO nanoparticles. |
